Saboteur é um game de ação em terceira pessoa desenvolvido pela Pandemic Studios (também responsável pelos jogos da série Star Wars: Battlefront) disponível para PlayStation 3, PC e Xbox 360. O game leva o jogador a Segunda Grande Guerra, tema constantemente abrangido pelos videogames, mas sob uma perspectiva peculiar.

No jogo, você encarna Sean Devlin, um piloto de corrida que vive uma vida calma e repleta de diversão. Mas, tudo vai por água abaixo quando os nazistas invadem a França, local onde Sean mora. O protagonista não vê motivos para escolher um lado da guerra, até que uma tragédia o atinge e ele resolve lutar em uma batalha completamente pessoal.

O jogo adota a fórmula de mundo aberto, em que é possível explorar livremente toda a cidade. Contudo, um dos diferenciais do game é a arte gráfica. No início, a cidade é completamente colorida, mas a invasão dos nazistas deixa as coisas acinzentadas — literalmente. Os ambientes apresentados em tons de cinza indicam o domínio nazista.

Em relação à jogabilidade, Saboteur permite que os jogadores desfrutem de dois estilos de jogo diferentes. É possível agir de maneira cautelosa ou adotar um comportamento mais agressivo, dependendo do que considerar mais adequado.

Durante as batalhas, Sean pode lutar utilizando os próprios punhos, desferindo golpes fortes e fracos e até mesmo agarrões. Já nos momentos em que há tiroteio, o protagonista desfruta de um sistema de cobertura simples e eficiente. Sean também é capaz de escalar praticamente tudo, o que facilita o acesso aos locais de difícil alcance.

Além disso, você também identificará diversas estruturas famosas em Saboteur, que servem como ponto-guia durante suas missões. Existem objetivos primários e secundários, que envolvem diversas atividades diferentes e ampliam a longevidade do game.
